2023 IOE Global Young Professionals' Academy: Applications Open

Join the 5th edition of IOE’s Global Young Professionals’ Academy for EBMOs in Istanbul, Türkiye from 16-20 October 2023.

Young professionals working at employers' organisations are invited to submit their application formby 11 August 2023 to join the 2023 Global Young Professionals’ Academy.   

This 5^th edition, led by the International Organisation of Employers, will be hosted by the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TISK), in co-operation with the International Training Centre of the ILO (ITCILO), and with the support and co-funding of the European Union. 

This competitive training programme is targeted at building the capacity and skills of professionals selected from across IOE’s network.  

The in-person session in Istanbul, Türkiye will be preceded by a 2-week online preparation module using an interactive digital platform.

Criteria to attend the programme:

• Participants must be working at an organisation within IOE’s membership.
• Participants must be under 35 years old at the time of application.
• Participants must be proficient in English.
• Participants must have at least 2 years of professional experience.

Successful professionals will:

• Gain advocacy skills – to engage more effectively with governments and stakeholders.
• Acquire tools – to implement and adapt policies at local, national, regional, and international level.
• Receive guidance – to achieve greater policy impact.
• Continue to be inspired – by the work of the global alumni network and advance their careers.
