Latest Business and Human Rights Newsletter now available

Do not miss the new edition of IOE’s Business and Human Rights Newsletter.

2022 promises to be one of the most dynamic years in the field of Business and Human Rights with challenging and vibrant discussions and negotiations. Notably, the European Commission’s draft supply chain and mandatory human rights due diligence (mHRDD) Directive, which was released 23 February 2022, will have far-reaching consequences in the field of BHR both at the European level and implications globally.

From the latest news and views on the EU Directive to international and national developments in due diligence, global supply chains and numerous other features, this edition of the Business and Human Rights Newsletter brings you all the information related to this topic. This edition also includes updates on the UN Draft Treaty Process, mHRDD state of play in Europe, ISO 26000 and ESG, IOE’s inputs for the High Commissioner’s and UNWG’s reports to be presented at the 50th session of the Human Rights Council in June 2022, and IOE’s guidance on climate change and just transition.

We invite you to take a closer look at it as well as at the IOE’s agenda to take note of all important events related to these topics that will take place throughout the year, including the IOE-BDA-DPDHL International Conference on BHR on 8 April 2022.
