This Global Town Hall will focus on the role of business on SDG 5 and SDG 17. It will also explore the important role business has played during the pandemic and its ability to play an important role in the future. Some of the biggest issues revolve around the pandemic’s impact on talent, supply chains and inclusive growth. This event, supported by SHRM, IOE and USCIB, will provide fireside chats with key business leaders with actionable learnings and recommended outcomes.

The event will discuss the following questions:

  • The pandemic has catapulted businesses forward to reinvent the future of work in embracing flexibility and reinventing the future of work. How are employers reinventing the workplace to respond to their employees? Moderated byIOE
  • Resilience fosters sustainability, inclusion and growth. How should we build a resilient workplace/workforce that delivers sustainability, inclusion and growth to create lasting opportunities for all and raise the dignity of work? Moderated by SHRM
  • For too long, governments and businesses have operated in silos, resulting in economies that are neither sustainable nor inclusive. How should they work together to drive economic growth and a more just society? Moderated by USCIB
