Share your views on the impact of the GCM in Africa

Take part in a high-profile podcast as part of the Continental Review of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular migration (GCM) in Africa.

Business Advisory Group on Migration would like to flag a terrific opportunity for you to participate in a podcast as part of an awareness raising campaign organised by the North African Mixed Migration Task Force (NAMMTF) on the Continental Review of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular migration (GCM) in Africa. The objective of the podcast is to give each participating organisation/agency an opportunity to showcase their work and efforts in implementing the GCM.

  1. Podcasts to reflect relevance to the objectives of the GCM.
  2. Podcasts can be recorded on Zoom or Teams and should be no longer than 7-10 minutes. Languages used in the campaign: English, French and Arabic.
  3. Podcasts are to be held in the format of a conversation (the post-production is taken care of by Task Force sub communication team and sent to participant for validation).
  4. Deadline for submission: August 6, 2021

Background information: NAMMTF is formed to support North Africa Member States in responding to the challenges of the mix migration flows while aiming at improving coordination between member agencies. The NAMMTF is carrying out an awareness-raising campaign on the objectives of the GCM in parallel to the relevant implementation by the TF members during 2021 with certain peak times of action.

The first Continental Review of the GCM in Africa will be virtual and hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco. The conference will take place from 26 August- 1 September 2021. It will be preceded by a multistakeholder consultation.
