The Global Forum for Migation and Development (GFMD) Summit will follow up on the themes examined during the 2022-2023 discussions at various preparatory meetings. These were determined by the Chair, France and consist of the following:

• Climate change and migration 
• Labour migration 
• Rights of migrants 
• The role of diaspora 
• Improving the public narrative 
• Multi-level governance

The Business Advisory Group on Migration, hosted by the International Organisation of Employers (IOE), will publish three reports to shape the business contribution to the GFMD.

IOE and the Business Advisory Group on Migration are co-organising a start-up competition to be held during the Summit and featuring technology-driven companies, developing innnovative ways to facilitate labour migration: IOE and Seedstars announce the Fourth Migration Challenge (ioe-emp.org).
