Powerful and balanced action: IOE's Annual Report now available

IOE's Annual Report 2021-2022 is now available online in 3 languages.

IOE’s global efforts continued to deliver robust results for its members and partners in 2021-2022. These ranged from being a central information hub on Covid-19 and the role of business in pandemic response to a knowledge leader on due diligence, sustainable supply chains and business and human rights, as well as policy expert on remote work, platform employment and gender, diversity and inclusivity issues.

This year’s report gives special attention to our work in supporting our members with navigating the disruptions from the pandemic, economic crisis, and a rules-based global order under threat. It also highlights IOE’s efforts to change the public narrative on business, especially that of small and medium enterprises through our "Business Heroes" campaign.

The report also spotlights our work covering more policy areas such as trade, digitalisation, climate change and just transition. Our advocacy efforts raised awareness of the impact of adaptation and mitigation to climate change on employment and business continuity. We increased the regional profile of the business community, the challenges of informality and emerging trade opportunities in different regions with our members and international partners.
