Aim of the meeting
The G7 Labour and Employment Ministers' Meeting is a ministerial meeting held in conjunction with the G7 Summit to discuss various issues in the employment and labor sector among G7 ministers. The G7 Labor and Employment Ministers' Meeting is set to be held in Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.
The following topics will be explored during this meeting:
- Fostering the resilience of the labour market
- Labour market policies for the post-COVID-19 era and the current issues
- Digital transformation/green transformation and investment in human capital
- Developing an inclusive labour market
- Enhancing work engagement and promoting decent work
IOE Role
Mr Roberto Suárez Santos, IOE Secretary-General, will represent the employers and will be participating as a panellist to the panel "Dialogue with Social Partners (L7, B7)".
