UNGA: SDG8: "COVID Knows No Borders"

High-Level event organised by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, 8:00-10:00am EST

Virtual program discussing how COVID-19 has made workers' health and safety an international priority. The program will focus on safely opening businesses and how industries have necessitated additional considerations for personal protections. It will also discuss the new challenges for health and safety that have resulted from an increase in employees working from home.

The program will feature opening remarks from Dr. Denise Rutherford, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, 3M; Mr. Roberto Suárez Santos, Secretary-General, International Organisation of Employers and the International Labour Organization (TBC).
