IOE is organising a webinar to celebrate the success of the IOE-Deloitte-EU Mentorship Programme. The objective of the event is to spotlight the power of such initiatives resulting in positive, tangible outcomes for advancing gender equality in the workplace. The webinar will bring together participants of the Programme, as well as representatives of their employer organisations and partner companies to share their experiences. The success stories of two mentor-mentee pairings will be presented during the event:

  • Alesia Rodríguez from INCLUSION Consulting Group / Fedecámaras (mentor) and María Camila Agudelo Salazar from ANDI (Asociación Nacional de Empresarios de Colombia) (mentee).
  • Jasmine Begum from Microsoft (mentor) and Jelermina Abigail R. Gorospe from the Employers' Confederation of the Philippines (mentee).

The format of the meeting will consist of several presentations that will lay the ground for an open discussion with Q&A where the special focus will be given to the following questions:

  1. Can women empower each other and be their own driving force through mentorship?
  2. What are the "secret ingredients" for a successful mentorship arrangement? What are the lessons learned and best practices from this experience?
  3. How can we make mentorship initiatives more powerful in bringing positive change for women in organisational culture and leadership?

The concept note of the Mentorship Programme, including the agenda of the event, can be found in the "Resources" section. Spanish and French interpretation will be provided.
