Private sector panel

Separately, a hybrid high-level panel of business practitioners will happen on 19 September from 13:30-14:45 (ICT). The session is only open to companies and employer organisations attending the Forum.

The objectives of the session are to facilitate uptake of the UNGPs by Asian businesses by:

  • Reflecting on the key standards and expectations for business related to the corporate respect for human rights
  • Sharing practical experiences and approaches to identifying and mitigating potential and actual adverse human rights impacts in the Asia Pacific.
  • Discussing challenges in implementing the UNGPs and exploring ways of overcoming these.

This private sector session for business practitioners on implementing the UNGPs is co-organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), International Organisation of Employers (IOE), the Global Business Initiative on Human Rights (GBI) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) will also participate as an expert partner.

  • Register here to attend the hybrid high-level panel.

Do not miss this opportunity to acquire extensive knowledge and insights from local and multinational companies, high-level speakers from employer organisations, experts and practitioners.

We invite you to consult the agendas of the private sector-dedicated event and the Forum in the "Resources" section.

We look forward to seeing you.
