IOE Business Caucus and African Business & Human Rights Forum

Registration is open to attend the IOE Business Caucus (5 September 2023, 9:00-11:00, UTC+3 - Addis Ababa time) with French and English interpretation at the hybrid African Business and Human Rights Forum (6-7 September 2023).

After last year’s successful Forum in Accra, Ghana and IOE Business Caucus, this year’s Forum will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The programme, concept note and registration form for the Forum are available here.

Convened by the African Union and co-organised by UNDP, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights, the 2023 African Business and Human Rights Forum will be held on 5-7 September 2023 in Addis Ababa, with 5 September 2023 (referred to as “Day 0”) dedicated to pre-Forum sessions. The Forum will follow a hybrid format to ensure broad participation. 

IOE Business Caucus 

As part of the Forum, IOE is organising the Business Caucus for business practitioners only on 5 September from 9:00-11:00 (UTC+3 - Addis Ababa time). The format of this event will be hybrid. Online and in-person at the famous Mandela Hall at the New Conference Centre of the African Union.
