Asia Employers' Summit in Tokyo, Japan

IOE members from Asia, Pacific and Arab regions are invited to register for the Asia Employers' Summit that will take place on  21-22 September 2023, at Keidanren Kaikan, 1-3-2, Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-8188.

This regional summit is co-organised by the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) in partnership with Keidanren and with the generous support of the European Union.

The Summit will bring together representatives from EBMOs, companies and other partners from Asia, the Pacific and Arab States, including from Least Developed Countries and Small Island States.

The main objective of this Summit is to:

• Strengthen cooperation between and among IOE members in the Asia, Pacific and Arab States regions.
• Review the work being done by IOE member organisations.
• Showcase the latest trends and developments affecting employment and labour relations.
• Enhance EBMO engagement on labour and employment policies at the national level, in particular just transition, digital transformation, business and human rights, and upcoming ILO standards setting on the platform economy.
• Exchange new information since the IOE’s Future of Work event in 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We have limited financial support available to facilitate the contribution of qualifying employers' organisations in financial need (see attached list of eligible members). Members must be nominated by their organisation.
