IOE/Microsoft Tech@Work launch event

IOE, Microsoft and the local partner in Senegal, Synapse, will mark the start of the first phase of the innovative Tech@Work programme during a digital event on 3 October. The global project aims are to train 20,000 young people in digital and entrepreneurial skills in four African countries - the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Senegal and Uganda. Synapse is managing the training in Senegal with support from IOE and Microsoft.

This Tech@Work launch event will provide an update on the project content and objectives, examine education and employment issues in Senegal and assess national trends in the IT field.
