Consultation on implementation of the EU's multi-annual programme for South-Saharan Africa

IOE members in Africa are invited to register for this session taking place on Monday 29 January 2024, from 13:00-16:00 CET.

This consultation is called by the Directorate-General for International Partnerships of the European Commission (DG INTPA).

The meeting has the following objectives:

• Provide an update of the programming process and
• Receive feedback on the Annual Action Plans (AAP) 2024 (which are currently under preparation).

This is an opportunity for employers to provide feedback to the EU on their existing and upcoming activities and projects in Africa.

The plenary session will be followed by group discussions on:

1. Human development (including health, gender, culture, youth and skills); 
2. Democracy, governance, peace, migration and forced displacement (including CSO, local Government, illicit financial flows, and maritime security); 
3. Green transition (including climate change, agri-food, pastoralism, and ocean protection); 
4. Sustainable growth and decent jobs, digital, science, technology and innovation (STI) (including trade, circular economy and product safety).
