ILO Meeting of Experts to revise the 1992 Code of practice on safety and health in construction

The ILO will hold a tripartite meeting to revise the 1992 Code of practice on safety and health in construction from 21 to 25 February 2022. The revision of the code is part of a practical and time-bound package of follow-up action adopted by the ILO Governing Body.  The 1992 code of practice, which can be accessed here, is meant to provide practical guidance on a legal, administrative, technical and educational framework for safety and health in construction to prevent accidents and diseases and harmful effects on the health of workers arising from employment in construction, among others.

Eight Employer, eight Worker and Governmental experts will be invited to participate in the revision of this code of practice.
