21 October - Register now for a workshop on energy transitions and have your voice heard

The ILO is organizing a consultative virtual future-thinking workshop for a just energy transition on Thursday 21 October 10:00-16:00 CEST. This workshop will introduce key innovation and future-thinking methodologies to spark innovative solutions to a just energy transition.

Future-thinking methods facilitate co-creation processes to envision different possible futures, identify strategic areas of work to contribute to preferred futures and help to manage uncertainty.

In the course of the workshop, participatory future-thinking tools will be used:

  • To identify and interpret signals of change in the energy field and implications for decent work and social justice
  • To discuss possible energy future outlooks and envisage outcomes we wish to materialise
  • To generate ideas and map potential areas of work that have high potential to trigger large-scale change towards a just energy transition

The outcomes of the workshop will be discussed in an interactive conversation at the ILO-organised Just Transition Forum – Energy that will take place in December 2021.

The workshop is open to practitioners, social partners and policy-makers working on just transition, energy, decent work and/or relevant fields.

Sign up here. Seats are limited so please apply as soon as possible if you are interested. Please find the agenda attached in the Resources section and feel free to reach out in case of any questions.
