First Meeting of African Employers Focal Points on Migration and Trade

On 28 October at 11:00 (CET), IOE is organising a meeting for African employers focal points on migration and trade to strengthen cooperation on these topics.

Please join the first meeting of African employers focal points on migration and trade on 28 October at 11:00 (CET). This first meeting will be held online, we have however plans to meet in person as of 2022.

17 Employers Federations in Africa, out of the IOE members in 38 African countries have nominated their focal points. For those who have not done so yet, please share the name of the expert or expert-to-be before 28 October and join our first meeting. If you still struggle to identify the right person within your federation or membership, please join the meeting and we will answer all questions you may have about the scope of this network, what we aim to achieve and why it is crucial for the employers to join their voices on the interlinked issued of migration and trade.

The network of focal points on migration and trade will benefit from in-person capacity building sessions, as well as access to global conferences. A workplan will be shared at the meeting.
