The 9th Annual Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum) will be held on 9-10 May 2024.
The collaborative STI Forum is convened annually by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) President and is expected to discuss science, technology, and innovation cooperation around thematic areas for the implementation of the SDGs, congregating all relevant stakeholders to actively contribute in their areas of expertise. The Forum will result in a co-chairs’ summary of discussions.
The STI Forum will be an opportunity for governments and multiple stakeholders to exchange new ideas, recommendations and priorities for the upcoming work of the ECOSOC and the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) with a focus on the role and contributions of science, technology and innovation.
