ILO response to Covid-19: Virtual exchange between ILO DG and the Employers’ Group

Dear Members,

We are pleased to invite you to a virtual briefing session concerning the ILO’s response to Covid-19. The session will be held on Thursday, 30 April, from 14:00 to 15:30 (CET).

It will be an opportunity to exchange with ILO DG on ILO positioning, answers, and guidance on the socio-economic impacts of Covid-19 and practical recovery strategies. ILO Deputy Directors-General and the Director of the Bureau for Employers’ Activities will also attend the virtual meeting

Mthunzi Mdwaba will make a contribution on behalf of the Employers and IOE Regional Vice-Presidents will make contributions too. Time will be allocated for Questions and Answers among all the participants.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, French and Spanish. Connection details to the session via Zoom will be provided later in a separate message. Please be aware that a maximum of 500 participants will be able to connect. The link for the session will be activated 30 minutes in advance so that participants can verify that they have access to the meeting.
