B20 Future of Work and Skills Task Force

The IOE is Networking-Partner of the B20 Future of Work and Skills Task Force and contributing to the development of the B20 recommendations on this issue. Please find attached the third draft of the recommendations, which includes now a strong focus on addressing the impact of the Covid-19 Crisis. We would like to ask you to send us any comments you might have until 19 April CoB to thorns(at)ioe-emp.com.

We also would like to inform you that the B20 is organising a virtual plenary on Covid-19 that will bring leaders from civil society, business and government organisations together in dialogue. 

Topics discussed include:

• Taking stock of global response on handling the pandemic
• The new business reality – assessing the unfolding cost to the economy & employment
• Charting the course for revival 
• Women on the frontlines of the crisis
