En route to the UN Summit of the Future in September 2024, the International Organisation of Employers (IOE), the Business & Industry Major Group (BIMG) to the UN in New York, and the United States Council for International Business (USCIB) are organising a business dialogue on strengthening the collaboration between the international community and the private sector on the "what" and "how” business and employers’ priority actions and partnerships can contribute to the transformation for the future we all want.

The meeting will be held on 5 December from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. EST and will:

  • Spotlight key outcomes for business from the SDG Summit and set a course for mainstreaming the private sector into the 2024 UN Summit of the Future.
  • Engage with thought leaders from the private sector, UN entities, and diplomatic missions in a discussion of how to feed into the UN Summit of the Future.

USCIB’s Moving the Needle initiative will also present its findings and business recommendations to accelerate Sustainable Development Goals Actions while strengthening the UN system’s effectiveness and resilience.
