IOE brings the voice of business to Davos

 

As the Official Network Partner of the B20 Education and Employment Taskforce, IOE participated in a number of high-level events held within the framework of this year's 48th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos.

 

Daniel Funes de Rioja, former IOE President and current B20 Chair under the Argentinian G20 Presidency, led the B20 Roundtable on Business Challenges within the framework of the G20 Argentina. He shed light on the B20's top priority areas for the G20 Argentina. Mr. Funes de Rioja highlighted the important role Erol Kiresepi, current IOE President and co-Chair of the B20 Employment and Education Taskforce, will be playing in 2018 to ensure that the B20 recommendations on Employment and Education are solid, realistic and implementable.

 

María Paz Anzorreguy, IOE Senior Adviser followed a number of high-level events concerned with the future of work, automation, artificial intelligence and the digital economy. She participated in this year's edition of the GAN/Accenture high-level breakfast meeting: Leaders Unite for Skills, Jobs and Youth and also addressed the W20 event: Talking with the W20. Towards the economic autonomy of women. The programme, initiatives and projects of the 48th WEF Annual Meeting are focused on Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World.
