How much have Employers' Organisations in the Asia-Pacific region evolved in membership composition, services and relationships?

CAPE in collaboration with the IOE and ILO ACT/EMP (Bureau of Employers' Activities) conducted a survey of Asia-Pacific Employers' Organisations to better understand the evolution of employers' organisations (EOs) in the region.

Based on the responses to the survey, CAPE, IOE and ACTEMP produced the Background Note on the Evolution of Asia-Pacific Employers' Organisations (EOs) to explore the extent to which EOs in the region have changed in terms of their membership composition, the services they provide and their relationships with other business membership organisations.

This background note which reports on the main findings of the survey serves as a good basis for further work in understanding how EOs in the Asia-Pacific region have evolved in the last 10 years and how they themselves see their evolution in the years to come based on the changing world of work.

This Background Note is now available from the side panel.
