CEATAL Invitation to Working Groups Meeting and the first Preparatory Meeting of the XX IACML

Dear Members of the Business Technical Advisory Body on Labour Matters (CEATAL),

On behalf of Daniel Funes de Rioja, CEATAL President, I am pleased to greet you and provide the relevant documents of the Meeting of Working Groups of the XIX Inter American Conference of Ministers of Labour of the OAS (IACML) and the invitation to the first Preparatory Meeting of the XX IACML, to take place on 27-28 April 2017 in Asunción, Paraguay.

The presence of CEATAL in these meetings is very important to, from the outset, provide input to the preparatory process of the XX IACML. As you will see in the Agenda, a number of interventions by CEATAL representatives can be made in particular on the topics of transition to the formal economy and on strategies to enforce labour legislation.

We would very much appreciate if you can inform us of your availability to be part of the CEATAL delegation in Asunción no later than 3 April 2017 to anzorreguy@ioe-emp.com. Unfortunately there is no funding available and CEATAL representatives will have to bear the cost of their travel expenses.

Also, we would be grateful if you can send us your responses to the IOE survey in the side panel no later than 3 April 2017 to prepare the CEATAL position for the event, taking into account the views of employers' organisations from the different sub regions of the hemisphere.
