Powerful and balanced action 2020-2021 Annual Report is online

IOE’s Annual Report 2020-2021 is now available online in 3 languages.

This year’s report gives special attention to IOE’s work with our members and their networks in responding to the devastating economic impact of the pandemic on businesses. Also, importantly, extensive coverage of our Centenary activities is provided, presenting the virtual conferences and communication initiatives that marked this important milestone.

Progress is detailed in the report on areas such as business and human rights, skills advocacy, occupational safety and health promotion, industrial relations knowledge dissemination. Among our major achievements, the participation of the Director-General of the World Health Organization in several IOE digital conferences, going from strength to strength in our relationship with the United Nations with the participation of both the UN Secretary-General António Guterres and UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed in IOE events, the publication of over 40 policy and guidance papers and the increase in IOE’s visibility throughout the multilateral system.

The report also spotlights our work on topics ranging from future of work, climate and employment, child labour, to the opportunities of trade and job creation. The Annual Report is available online in 3 languages.
