European Development Days

Be part of the development community during this annual European Forum on innovative solutions for global issues.

The European Development Days (EDD) will be organised by the European Commission on 21 and 22 June 2022.

The EDD are Europe’s leading multistakeholder forum on international partnerships and development, with the aim to bring key actors from all over the world together to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.

This year’s EDD will be hybrid, meaning most sessions will take place simultaneously online and in person. The focus of the 2022 EDD is on “Global Gateway: building sustainable partnerships for a connected world.” Global Gateway is the new European Strategy to boost smart, clean, and secure links in digital, energy and transport and strengthen health, education, and research systems across the world.
