New publication on mandatory human rights due diligence and supply chain law

IOE and KAS released today this publication to enhance employers understanding of the latest developments in this area.

The International Organisation of Employers (IOE) together with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) have launched a paper on Key developments in mandatory human rights due diligence and supply chain law - Considerations for employers.

This paper aims to support the meaningful engagement of the business community in the discussions on due diligence and supply chain law legislation, by clarifying what the UNGPs say on due diligence; setting out the recent legislative and judicial developments; enumerating the expectations and recommendations of stakeholders and the UN; and highlighting the critical points for business to know and consider.

Please find the publication in the Resources section.

To discuss the issue further, we would like to invite you to a joint IOE-KAS digital workshop on human rights due diligence and supply chain law on 23 September at 14:00-15:30 CEST with key experts on this topic from companies, business federations, think tanks and the UN.
