The chapter provides an overview of the development of international labour standards, including the processes of standard-setting, ratification, and supervisory procedures at the International Labour Organisation (ILO). It concludes with an outlook of upcoming ILS discussions based on the ILO Centenary Declaration and Resolution and a reference to the upcoming ILO Global Response to COVID-19 and the World of Work.
