New IOE position paper inputs into the Business and Human Rights roadmap

IOE publishes new position paper setting out the views of our global membership and partners on the roadmap for better implementation of the UN Guiding Principles.

IOE has kept you updated on the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights drafting process for a roadmap for the better uptake and implementation of the UN Guiding Principles and Business and Human Rights. IOE has drafted input to this roadmap through the attached position paper on the success and challenges in the implementation of the UN Guiding Principles. This paper is based on the results of two global surveys (one for federations, one for companies). IOE organised regional and global online consultations with IOE members and partners and the UN Working Group, together with carrying out qualitative interviews. We would like to thank all who contributed to this consultation process, and the comments and suggestions we have received on the draft paper.

Please find attached the final IOE paper “#UNGPsPlus10 - Achievements, challenges, and the way forward in the uptake and implementation of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights”.
