Final position paper on the second revised treaty on business and human rights

Final position paper is now available. Time to reach out to government ministries to advocate for the joint business position.

In follow-up to our communication on 25 September 2020, please find attached the final IOE, Business at OECD (BIAC) and BusinessEurope position on the second revised draft treaty on business and human rights (Ecuador process). The second revised draft treaty will be officially discussed at the sixth session (26-30 October 2020) of the open-ended intergovernmental working group on transnational corporations and other business enterprises with respect to human rights. We would like to thank all members for their contribution.

We would like to encourage all members to get in contact with the relevant ministries to advocate for this joint business position and to raise the concerns with regards to the second revised draft treaty.
