Invitation to the official launch of the IOE Centenary Year

Kick-off the Centenary with us on 19 March on ILO's 11th floor!

Dear Members and Partners,

We are pleased to invite you to the IOE Centenary kick-off reception on 19 March 2020 at 19:00 in Geneva at the International Labour Organization during the 338th Session of the ILO’s Governing Body.

This exceptional event will focus on celebrating our 100-year history with a photo exhibition and presentation by the historian, Marieke Louis, author of a soon-to-be published book, The Merchants of Diplomacy, which examines among other subjects IOE’s past.

The 19 March event will also be an extraordinary networking opportunity as we bring together UN leaders, high-ranking government representatives and leaders from our corporate partner network.

Mr. Guy Ryder, Director-General of the International Labour Organization and Ms. Sharan Burrow, General Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation have been invited. We have also extended an invitation to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva, together with selected dignitaries and private sector senior executives.
