Official invitation to the meeting of the Future of Work Policy Working Group - 19 March 2019
Dear members and partners,
Want to know what is in "The Next Phase of the Future of Work Discussion"? Then join us in our next IOE Policy Working Group on the Future of Work meeting on Tuesday,19 March 2019 at 13:30-15:30 CET in the Room III, ILO headquarters, Geneva.
At this meeting, we will discuss the key recommendations of the ILO Global Commission on the Future of Work Report, Work for a Brighter Future, and provide some updates on the Outcome Document discussions in preparation for the debates in the ILO Centenary Conference this year. We invite our IOE members to share their views on these two centenary topics during the tour de table discussion.
Finally, we will have a presentation from a leading academic who contributed to the recently published IBA Report on the Future of Work. He will share with us his findings on disruptive technologies essential for understanding the future of work: the Internet of Things, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. We highly encourage our IOE members to participate in the Q&A session following his presentation.
Please register your interests for participation with Ms Marina Wiebusch via the link on the side panel, before 15 March 2019.
The meeting will be interpreted in all three ILO official languages (English, French and Spanish); however the Webex connection will be only available in English.
