The Global Apprenticeship Network is looking for a new Executive Director

The GAN is now receiving applications for the position of Executive Director (first round deadline: 31 October 2018)

Dear Members,

As previously announced in the last IOE Newsletter, the Global Apprenticeship Network (GAN) is now recruiting a new Executive Director.

The GAN is a business-led public private partnership, with the overarching goal of encouraging and linking business initiatives on skills and employment opportunities for youth - notably through apprenticeships, work-readiness programmes and work-based training.

The GAN is key to IOE (BIAC) members in providing input into our policy areas of Employment and Skills and the Future of Work. It also assists in implementing GAN local networks throughout the world of which to date there are 14.

On 31 January 2019 Shea Gopaul, who many of you know, will be stepping down as the Executive Director and a search for her replacement has commenced. Please find below the link relevant job description, it contains all the necessary details; the job description can also be found on the GAN Careers page. Should you know of any interested candidates please have them apply for the position by 31 October 2018 (deadline of the first call to submit candidatures).

Yours sincerely,

Roberto Suárez Santos
Acting Secretary-General
