Official invitation to the IOE Policy Working Group on the Future of Work - 7 November 2018, Geneva
Dear Members and Partners,
The next meeting of the IOE Policy Working Group on the Future of Work will take place on Wednesday 7th November 2018 from 13.00 - 14.30 Geneva time (CET) in Room III of the ILO, Geneva.
It will be possible to join the meeting via Webex. For those wishing to join via Webex, details on how to dial-in will be provided.
This meeting is intended to strategically evaluate the next steps to be taken in the Future of Work discussion, in the light of the work of the Global Commission on the Future of Work and the preliminary results of the joint research project conducted by ILO/ACTEMP and the IOE on the “Future of business and opportunities for Employers’ Organisations”.
In particular, the IOE and ACTEMP will:
- present some key findings;
- share a preview of a survey conducted among 500 companies in the sectors of retail, hospitality and manufacturing; and
- present an updated, short and practical list of proposals for action and key messages to be used in global and national discussions.
The detailed agenda of the Meeting of the Policy Working Group on the Future of Work is available just below and can be found in the IOE dedicated webpage.
Please register your interest in participating (in person or via Webex) with Ms Marina Wiebusch (the contact details can be found below) before 5 November 2018. Interpretation will be provided in English, French and Spanish (however, the Webex connection will be only available in English).
