The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has led governments to implement a range of temporary immigration-related measures to contain the spread of the virus. These include entry or travel restrictions, quarantine upon entry in a country, closing of consular posts and visa application centers among others. Transportation is suspended having an impact on global mobility of workers and the recruitment of foreign workforce, straining businesses.
