Apply now to the 2019 ILO Internship Course

Dear Members,

The International Training Course on Labour and Social Policies for Decent Work organized by the ILO Research Department will take place from 30 May to 7 June 2019 in Geneva. The Course will be conducted in English only.

The main objective of the ILO Internship Course is to effectively assist ILO constituents through capacity-building and training activities. In addition to an introduction to the ILO, its organs, programmes and functioning, the course will deal with economic and social policies to promote decent and productive work for women and men in a global economy. The course will also stimulate a cross-national exchange of views and experiences among ILO constituents as regards policies and lessons learned with respect to the ILO's work.

The participants will also have an opportunity to attend the opening session of the 108th Session of the International Labour Conference which starts on 10 June 2019.

Eight participants selected among the candidatures submitted by employers' organisations will be invited to attend the course. All travel and subsistence expenses will be covered by the Institute. As this course is especially addressed to participants from developing countries, the priority will be given to candidates from these countries.

Should your federation wish to propose a candidate, we would very much appreciate it if you could inform us accordingly and send us the application form not later than Friday 7 December 2018 (available via the link in the side panel), duly completed and signed, to enable our Acting Secretary-General to prepare the list of candidatures to be submitted to the Research Department.

Please send this application form to espinosa@ioe-emp.com. We draw your attention to the fact that, for strict procedural reason, we are obliged to act within the above time limit. We therefore regret that any candidature received after 7 December 2018 cannot be considered.

Yours sincerely,

Matias Espinosa

Adviser
