Save the dates for two back-to-back events in Nairobi:
5-7 March 2018!

Taking the opportunity of attending the Stars in Africa event in Nairobi on 6-7 March 2018, IOE members in Africa are invited to also save the date for the joint Business Africa/IOE Enterprise Forum on 5 March.  The Enterprise Forum is for employers' organisations only and will aim to provide a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences on:

* Analysis of the business environment
* Advocating for policy change to improve the business environment
* Building employer organisation capacity to effectively
contribute to good governance and to engage in social dialogue.
* Supporting employers' organisations to fully unleash the
potential of trade for more and better jobs.

On 6-7 March, Business Africa, the IOE and the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) will join with MEDEF to co-host the fourth edition of the "Stars in Africa" event.

This EU-Africa Youth & Entrepreneurship Forum will combine keynote speeches, masterclasses and workshops, B2B meetings, and a start-up competition in what promises to be a unique event in connecting the stakeholders as they seek solutions to achieve real progress in youth training, employment creation and entrepreneurship.

Employer organisation members are invited to encourage their company members and young entrepreneurs to attend.  A side-event for Business Africa members will take place on 6 March 2018, culminating in a Declaration on Youth and Entrepreneurship.

Thanks to the support of the European Union, limited funding is available for employers' organisations to attend these events. If you would like to apply for financial assistance,  please contact us by 15 February at the very latest.

Programmes and additional information on these events will be available in due course. Please save the dates and count on joining us!
