During the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work, the "Singapore Declaration" was submitted to more than 200 representatives from various business organisations in an effort to prevent work-related travel safety, health and security incidents. The IOE participated in the review of the Declaration and strongly recommended the removal of a reference to "legal instruments". The Declaration now refers to "guidelines and appropriate regulation" that "Governments should identify, modify or create as necessary..."

IOE Members and Partners are highly encouraged to sign the "Singapore Declaration" to promote the prevention of work-related travel safety, health and security incidents.
