Tripartite participation needed at the ILO European Regional Meeting (2-5 October 2017, Istanbul)
Dear IOE European Members,
A letter requesting your action in response to the position of ITUC and ETUC concerning workers' participation at the upcoming 10th ILO European Regional Meeting taking place from 2-5 October 2017 in Istanbul can be accessed from the side panel.
The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) have advised their members not to attend this meeting.
I have written to Sharan Burrow, General Secretary of ITUC, to express our concern. This letter is also accessible from the side panel.
Please get in touch with your Government and Workers' Organisations to encourage tripartite participation at this important regional meeting.
