IMPORTANT NOTICE ON REGISTRATION FOR THE COMMITTEES AT THE UPCOMING INTERNATIONAL LABOUR CONFERENCE: 5-16 JUNE 2017
Dear Members,
Please note that registration to participate in the work of the Conference Committees takes place exclusively on-line with associated enquiries and administration being handled by our ILO colleagues in the Bureau for Employers' Activities (ACT/EMP).
As always, we ask that you apply for titular membership of a committee only if you will be physically present in all the committee meetings for the duration of the ILC.
As the duration of the Conference is now reduced to two weeks and the Conference Committees will begin their actual technical work on the day of the opening of the Conference, i.e. Monday, 5 June, advance registration is necessary. It is important that, once the Employer delegate from your country has been nominated, s/he downloads the form for Employer membership in committees. (Please click on the link in the side panel to access.) The completed form should be sent to actemp-conf@ilo.org as soon as possible and by Sunday, 4 June 2017 before 5pm at the very latest.
Please note Committee membership as indicated in the form will only be effective once:
The ILO has received official credentials of the country delegation from the Government (deadline for this is Monday, 15 May 2017); The request is endorsed by the Employers' Group; The initial composition of the committees is approved by the Conference.
