BIAC/OECD high-level session on the functioning of the OECD's National Contact Point system

We encourage as many MNE company representatives to attend this meeting as possible because it is an important opportunity to provide robust feedback on the OECD National Contact Point (NCP) system and to explore the strategy of business in terms of future engagement.

Target audience for this session: Corporate Directors of MNEs dealing with issues concerning responsible business conduct.

Session aims:

  1. To bring together a group of high‐level business representatives from MNEs to further raise awareness about the NCP procedure and to exchange experience about advantages and drawbacks of the system.
  2. To explore the strategic question of how business should position itself towards the future development of the NCP system and the OECD Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) agenda. In particular, the meeting will offer a platform to discuss the conditions that must be in place to facilitate proactive engagement of all stakeholders in the NCP process.

Date: Wednesday 28 June 2017

Time: 14:30-18:00 (+ evening reception)

Location: Room CC20, OECD Conference Center, 2 Rue André Pascal, 75016 Paris

Please note: this meeting takes place ahead of the OECD Global Forum on Responsible Business Conduct on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 June (same venue).
