2017 ILC - Register for the IOE Forum on Diverse Forms of Employment on 14 June 2017

Dear Members, Partners and Colleagues,

The IOE Forum on Diverse Forms of Employment will take place on 14 June 2017 at the ILO in Geneva.

Senior figures from the world of business, employers' organisations, academia and government will:

  • explore the challenges, but also the immense positive potential, of new and diverse forms of work for social security systems, employment, business models and industrial relations;
  • address the outdated distinction between “standard and non-standard” forms of employment; and
  • seek to identify how employers’ organisations will need to adapt their services to meet members’ needs in an ever-evolving employment landscape.

The forum will build on the outcomes of the IOE’s Global Employers’ Workshop on the Future of Work which took place in Madrid in March, and inform the business and employer community’s ongoing contribution to the Future of Work debate in the ILO, the G20/B20 employment work stream, the OECD, and other national, regional and international-level forums.

The programme is accessible via the link in the side panel. Interpretation will be available in Arabic, English, French, Russian and Spanish.

Please register as soon as possible with Dalia Farag (farag@ioe-emp.com) and, at the same time, indicate whether you will be able to attend the post-Forum reception which is being generously hosted by the Swiss Employers' Union (UPS) and the Federation of Enterprises of Western Switzerland (FER) at their headquarters in downtown Geneva.

This promises to be an interesting event and we look forward to your participation.

Kind regards,

Linda Kromjong Roberto Suárez Santos
Secretary-General       Deputy Secretary-General
