Untapping the potential of MSMEs to achieve Agenda 2030

On 23 September 2020 from 11:00 – 12:00 (EST) IOE is organising a digital event during the 2020 UN Global Compact SDG Business Forum on Untapping the potential of MSMEs to achieve Agenda 2030.

Representatives from leading employer federations and other critical public and private stakeholders will join this top-level event bringing the voice of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to the UN General Assembly.

The event will give MSMEs the opportunity to share their insights with international actors on how they are managing the health, social and economic challenges related to the pandemic are extremely valuable in the context of Agenda 2030. More broadly, in order to better understand their challenges, concerns and opportunities with regards to the Agenda 2030, this conference aims to identify innovative approaches to support MSMEs in their efforts to contribute to the SDGs, to strengthen frameworks, which address the needs of MSMEs, and to better include them in the relevant debates at national and international level.
