Aim of the meeting:
The Virtual Event is an ILO initiative, in partnership with the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and the Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO) to foster a debate and discussion on the key contribution of employment and decent work to peacebuilding, social cohesion and social justice, in particular in response to the Covid-19 crisis. This event was initially planned as a face-to-face Conference on 19th May 2020 at the ILO Headquarters. In the context of the current situation, it is suggested to organize this as a Webinar, also with the hope of accessing a larger audience.
