Aim of the meeting:

The discussions will try to identify business needs and priorities in the region on matters relating to labour migration in general and skills mobility in particular, and how these issues are addressed in the national migration policies and frameworks. In view of the current health pandemic, Covid-19, an assessment of the national labour market realities based on the skills gaps and availability in different sectors, is important to ensure safe, orderly and regular pathways of labour migration.    

IOE Role:

Presenting Employers' labour migration priorities in the region through participation in discussion and nominating Employers representatives.
