UN High-Level Debate on International Migration and Development

Aim of the meeting

This session will provide a high-level and strategic overview on the progress in achieving the various goals/targets around migration. The discussion will focus on what has been achieved, what the gaps are, and what new or emerging issues and policy developments need to be taken into account. The discussion will showcase good practices in including migration in voluntary national reviews at the HLPF.

IOE Role in the meeting

IOE Secretary-General, Roberto Súarez Santos, will be a panelist and give a 5 minute presentation on addressing capacity-building gaps, mobilizing resources & development.
