IOE Report on the 108th session of the International Labour Conference (Centenary session)

Aim of the meeting
The Governing Body is the executive body of the International Labour Organization (the Office is the secretariat of the Organization). It meets three times a year, in March, June and November. It takes decisions on ILO policy, decides the agenda of the International Labour Conference, adopts the draft Programme and Budget of the Organization for submission to the Conference, and elects the Director-General.
This meeting aims to conduct the business of the ILO Governing Body in line with the Constitution.
IOE Role in the meeting
Secretariat of the Employers' group in the Governing Body. Prepare and assist the Employers' GB Members to ensure that the priorities of the Group are taken into account in the discussion and decisions.
