Covid-19 and its disastrous impact on health, employment and the economy calls for collective action. Business has a key role to play in preventing the spread of the virus, protecting lives and livelihoods, and building resilient economies and societies. The aim of this digital meeting, jointly organised with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Foundation, is to gather first impressions from UN Resident Coordinators (RC) about their expectations on business and business federations with regards to the immediate response to the Covid-19 pandemic and the wider implementation of the Agenda 2030, and to hear from business about their experiences in engaging with UN agencies and institutions.
