Business and Human Rights


On 30 September the Human Rights Council confirmed the appointment of the members of the Working Group on human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises which were:
  • Michael Addo (Ghana)
  • Puvan Selvanathan (Malaysia)
  • Pavel Sulyandziga (Russia)
  • Alexandra Guaqueta (Colombia / US)
  • Margaret Jungk (US)
The mandate of the working group will be for 3 years. It will work to promote the principles, exchange good practices, support capacity building efforts, conduct country visits and establish an annual multistate holder forum to discuss trends and challenges with regard to the principles.
