Launch of the Global Occupational Safety and Health Coalition
Organised by the ILO & the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of Finland
Aim of the meeting:
The Global OSH Coalition will be launched on 12 November 2019 at the Vision Zero Summit. The Global OSH Coalition is a multi-stakeholder partnership aiming at promoting the critical contribution that safe and healthy working environments make to decent work, global health and sustainable development. It was proposed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health of Finland at the XXI World Congress on Safety and Health at Work, in 2017, and established with a group of international partners, including the ILO.
The Secretariat of the Coalition, the ILO, has invited the IOE to join this initiative. The IOE will share commitment and raise the importance of OSH for employers. It will be also an opportunity to benefit from the content of the OSH summit.
